Americas Longest War

On June 18th, 1971 Richard Nixon declared a War on Drugs. Now 48 years later we are still fighting but are not winning. Each year our country budgets $50 Billion or more to fight this war. The strategy has changed little from president to president. Interception of drugs, eradication, and imprisonment. The logic (if you can call it that) is if you cut off the supply of drugs people will stop using them. No thought or money has been allotted for the treatment of addicted users should the war be won.
Why not re-direct the effort of the war to treating the front-line victims of the war on drugs, the addicted users of the drugs. Instead of trying to dry up the supply of drugs dry up the demand. Help the poor souls who have made a terrible mistake. How does arresting a drug user stop drug use, why not help them become drug-free.

Jim Bob’s Consent, Reject or Racial slur Website

In view of all of the contagious unwanted touching and sexual harassment charges, we are hearing about today. Jim Bob will soon launch a website called www.consentorrejectandracialslur.com to protect both men and women during these times of no clear definition of what one can or cannot do.
For example, if a man or a woman have been dating for a while and he wants to kiss or touch her he will send a notification through the website. This way she can accept or reject prior to their next meeting. If say in a working environment a man or woman touches a co-worker and they don’t like it they can send a stop touching notice through the website. If someone uses a racial slur the offended person can send a notification of condemnation explaining how the slur has affected them, thus improving racial relations. If a man or a woman feels harassed, they can have a certified letter sent to the harasser.
By using Jim Bob’s new website dating would become easier and safer no longer would one be rejected when trying to get their first kiss and no longer would someone be repelled by someone wanting a kiss or a hug or to place their hand on someone shoulder and smell their hair.

Does Walmart Think They Are to Big to Fail

Jim Bob went to Walmart to buy groceries and like every time Jim Bob shops Walmart some of the things he purchased before are out of stock or have been moved. And as every time he shops Walmart it makes him angry and stressed.
